Yea, and if you havent noticed, conroes are dishing out SPI times that are more than twice your times.

How do you know what my PI times are? What exactly is your point?

Your actually helping my point since PI time are highly dependant on the size of the cache. For one thing all the PI times I've seen for Conroe are done on one core with the other core disabled. When both cores on Conroe run PI and share the cache the times decrease by 4-5 seconds on 1M calculations. When you see a legit stock dual super PI let me know.

Of course people like you just see a high number and say "WOW OMG THAT ROX BBQ!", without actually looking at the facts and circumstances. I'm sorry for actually thinking for myself and questioning things.

No sensible motherboards available yet.

The extra 2MB cache in the E6600/E6700/X6800 has been shown to make 10%-15% improvement in games.

Can you find a link to that please?

I am still unsure between the 6400 and 6600, an article stating what you said may help greatly in deciding.

where did you pre-order it at?

like i have said before i only get £300 a month but i can always push to abit more :)
