Okay so i got 240 dollars to spend on an LCD, what would you guys recomend?
I remember there was a Viewsonic 19" 2ms one that someone posted here in the forums.
I can't find it tough. anywayz.. what would you guys recomend ?

Edit: nvm.. it loaded in IE, but not firefox WTF?

The last couple days i've been clicking on various links you guys have been posting for Newegg and it seems to take forever to get a connection. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've had it for last week, this is what you gotta do, go google newegg, click on first link from google search, then the page comes up, press back a couple times, then click on the link, that works i think.

yea, I had the same problem too, trying to track my order.

Hopefully when I get enough money I can buy an LCD, or a high end CRT.

Yea, that works for me, except with my FireFox, i use tabs so i don't have to press back, i just make a new tab and do that, then click the link. It's a bit of a pain, dunno why it's happening.

Not to high jack the thread but will there be good monitors for some extreme SLi or crossfire when DX10 cards come out? I maybe going SLi if its compatible with Conroe or maybe go crossfire with Ati cards but I was wondering will they have good monitors to support that usagE?

Um, all monitors support DX10, crossfire, and SLi. SLi and Crossfire don't do much at resolutions like 1280x1024, they do best at extremely high resolutions, at at least 1600x1200.

Yeah I was basically wondering what kind of monitors you would recommend for running something like 1900x1200 resolution for games? like what brand etc?

I have no idea, i think Viewsonic is good cuz their larger monitors still have a response time of 8ms.

Dell and Apple make pretty good huge monitors... most people seem to go with Dell. Samsung is also very good, as is Viewsonic.

Maybe update your java service.. I had some problems with firefox and I just went to their site and installed firefox version 2, worked a treat. No more IE!
