Bf2 Crashes Back To Desktop!!!

hi all...this is my first post...

all i want to do is play bf2 online...

attached is my dxdiag file...

or below is my system specs

BIOS Date: 01/02/06 09:32:54 Ver: 08.00.12
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
2048MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
ATI RAEDON X1900 512 PCI-E
REALTEK AC97 AUDIO SOUNDCARD

I have all latest drivers installed for video, sound, and motherboard

I have updated bf2 to V1.3

PROBLEM:
When i first installed bf2 i could play singleplayer no problem but to play online i needed the latest files...after installing the latest bf2 files the game crashed back to the desktop...installed or latest drivers...but still crashes

i suspect it is my video card as it does not show up on the supported list and comes up with an exclamation icon in ea easy info...

my video card is a SAPHIRE ATI READON X1900 512 PCI-E

if there is anyone out there that is successfully running using a card like mine or could help me in solving this problem it would be greatly appreciated...

Try it it works sometimes. search for CTD or Crash To Desktop.

Its been covered a million times.

I'd make sure BF2 is using 1 core and not trying to use the 2.
