both are good for games i play. i dont know if they are better than like a Icemat or Steelpad, but they get the job done very well, and they pretty good priced.

I have a couple large wowpads that I got from Office Depot. They are only $9.99, and work great for laser mice. Their surface is simlar to the teflon coating on cookware. It's quite large at 11.5 x 12.5".

Where did you buy it lil jimmy, i want one!!! Anyways, right now, i'm using one of those old style mousepads, which is simply some green fabric stuff over semi stiff black foam, works well enough for my microsoft wireless optical mouse 2.0. I have a lot of room for improvement lol.

The also had some that were the same kind just smaller (normal size) with diffrent designs on them for a little cheaper.

I have a friend of mine who works with teflon. He brought my home a scrape piece of pure teflon, and I glued some rubber backing to it. With some fresh mouse feet and that piece of teflon, it doesn't take much for me to move the mouse.

I have a friend of mine who works with teflon. He brought my home a scrape piece of pure teflon, and I glued some rubber backing to it. With some fresh mouse feet and that piece of teflon, it doesn't take much for me to move the mouse.

Be careful the mouse doesn't slide off your desk on it's own. That sounds pretty cool.

that actually happened when I first tried it out. I bumped the edge of the desk just a wee bit, and it slid from one end of the pad off the other end on to the desk.

It would be nice for a lot of gamers to just get a sheet of telfon to use as a mouse pad like I did.

true, cause the only reason I got the piece I got was because they were going to throw it away.

I could try, but from what I understand a lot of the scrape aren't big enough to use as a mouse pad. The only reason I got my piece was because an order was made for several size pieces, but in the end the contractors didn't need them, so they were just going to throw them away. I was told that most of the scraps are 4" square or smaller, with the emphasis on smaller.
