    Easier upgrade path to Conroe

I came across this the other day and thought you guys may be interested:

This is the Asrock twins V2. As you may or may not be aware the Asrock twins boards take either DDR1 or DDR2 ram.
Anyhow the new version V2 (unreleased so far) will support Core 2 (Conroe). This means if you want to head to Conroe you can use this board with your old DDR ram.
Nobody knows really how it will perform yet because obviously the ram will have to run a divider, but I thought that this might interest any of you guys who prefer a cyclical upgrade rather than just buying a new box every now and then.

Ati chipset? Nevermind. While this might be great news to some, if I go conroe I'm gonna buy an intel chipset too.

Yes this motherboard will probably be ****e for overclocking, however Conroe is so fast at stock that maybe for some people this will be an interesting option.
