yes get the 7600gt i ahev one and i can play all settings maxed out 4xaa at 1280x1024 with a constant 60fps here are some screenshots

Wow danny, you've got definatley a good card. But you've also got the double RAM, 800MhZ better processor with X2 and a harddrive at 1000rpm. So I'm not sure I will be able to run at 60fps, maybe at 40 or something. but that's still good !

If you get 7600 make sure you change that cooler. Its so small and dont cool anything , and that thermopaste what they apply in factory is even worse.

Uh, it doesn't need a big cooler unless you are overclocking, the nes G71 and G73 cores (7600 and 7900 series) run VERY cool. If you want better cooler, get the KO edition, it is bigger and covers at least some of the ram.

I would like to see some benchmarks with your setup dude.

Those are some crazy speeds for a x1600...


But like everyone else said the 7600GT is king for the mid range sub 200$ market. I have two of them (well had to send one back due to a bad memory module) However be warned that some 7600GT KO have some issues not as many as the 7900GT. But Evga has great RMA service they have you pay for the shipping and everything!
