Find 1 post where I said AMD was better than Conroe? You can't because I know Conroe is better, but I'm not going to go all fanboy singing the praises of intel before it actually hits the shelves.

Both companies are evenly matched its just taht one comes out with a better chip at one time and everyone likes that company. then the other comes out with a better chip and everyone migrates over to them. Its a sick twisted neverending cycle of craziness.

I'd hurt myself if I did that. I provide facts to back up everything I say. Waiting for it to come out isn't going to do sh!t. There are ESes and final retail processors already in the hands of consumers. There is a person on [H]ardForums who has a retail X6800 and overclocked it to 3.8Ghz on watercooling. That's just as good as has been done on XS. Furthermore, a French website recently released a review with final release Core 2 Duo processors. Guess what, same performance. That was for you too Jimmy.

I haven't picked sides, this whole rabid "buy intel before the real procs come out" , until the consumer units come out I refuse to buy in to anything. If conroe is as great as the preproduction units are, then I'll buy. I've always said my next machine is probably going to be conroe, so calling me a fanboy shows how unintelligent you've become.
