Howdy,
My rig:
AMD Opteron 146 at 2.5Ghz on stock cooling
2 gigs of OCZ PC4000 ram
eVGA 7800GT CO SE
Problem:
Everytime I play a game, be it BF2, CSS, HL2, Red Ochestra: Ostfront, Medal of Honor Allied Assualt, or BF:V, I tend to lag really bad. Once or twice while playin both BF2 and CSS, the other players froze, but I could still look around, but not move. Other times it's just plain lag. It doesn't matter if I play SP or MP, it still does it. I've played at the same exact settings in all those games for at least 5 days, and I still get the lag. It all started today. I don't have any viruses or spyware, since I tested that out right before I posted. My tempurates I don't think are too bad, 25c idle, 40 is the max I've seen for the CPU, and 32c idle for the motherboard, and 36c is the max I've seen. My video card is at stock settings, and doesn't seem to be the cause of the lag.
I've tried decreasing the overclock on my CPU, and the lag is still there.
Any help?
