Saitek X45, Opinions? Configurations?

Hi all,

I just picked up this joystick http://www.joystickreview.com/saitek...ndthrottle.asp

on ebay

and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it, or if they might share a great A-10 configuration they've made?

For you search-teh-forum monkeys out there, yes I did search for "x45", and this is what I found:

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Anyway, thanks to any who have used/are using this setup and are willing to provide results.

To be picky it's a HOTAS, not a joystick.

Thanks. Hope it works--the first one was a 99c + $10 shipping logitech jobby (force feedback 1) that failed on plug in. You take your chances buying secondhand, but I'm hopeful that it may work out for me.

Don't worry, though. The logitech is in the trash (I think it may have bounced off of a couple of walls first), so it won't be up for re-bid at any price.

I personally havn't used it, but I know a person in my old BF2 clan used to use it and (At least I think that was it) and he had nothing but great feedback. Sorry I don't know more about it hope it all works out!

BTW, that looks insane.
