Which one is faster?

2 gigs of pc2700

or

3 gigs of pc 2100?

My motherboard only supports up to 1 gig of pc3200 and that's not quite cutting it.

2Gigs of PC2700 is faster. 3 Gigs of PC2100 is slower by speed and no dual channel, but it's also overkill.

Alright thanks . I'm guessing 2 gigs of pc2700 would be faster than my 1gig of pc3200 right?

No it would be slower, but in terms of system performance overall it would still be better.

the PCXXXX is the speed. obviusly the other is the amount. it's kind of like having two ships. one can carry more but it's slower, the other can't carry as much but it's fast. eh, kind of like that. hahah.
