Good luck getting a Conroe from Newegg on release. Mine is pre-order from OCUK and i fully expect it to arrive on July 24th. Price isnt everything.

Don't ask me, dunno much about intel (nor amd), so intel is made in taiwan??? Anyways, why would you figure that UK is getting them before US is?

I dont, I figure they will get them at the exact same time. The difference is that I already have mine on pre-order, assuming Intel hold up their end of the deal with ocuk for 1000 units I will get mine pretty much on release. Quite how (for instance) Newegg will work with their quota I dont know, but I expect it will be more of a scrap at the last minute.
This is the important difference Newegg is for sure cheaper, it is a much bigger company, the dollar is weak, and america is cheaper anyway but sometimes it is nice to pay a little more and get some good quality personal service :).

PS I mentioned Taiwan as that is the country which host computex :).

Lucky, you got a BT, i might get a Scythe Ninja, which beats the BT in tests hehe (and it's only 34 bucks on newegg, while the BT is around 45).

The ninja is very good but it is HUGE :) .
My typhoon was cheaper than either of the scythes at time of purchase :).

It's not huge, it's about the same size as the BT (it's taller but slimmer i believe than the BT).Anyways, the XP-120 is by far the most incompatiable of them all, half of the mobos it is even 'compatiable' with still have a blocked out PCI-e slot or a blockd out mem slot etc.

I guess the fact that there is a big gap in the BT gives me the impression that its smaller :laugh:.
