Sweet, i will get that card once i come back from hospital. What does aa do, all it seems to do is give me lag with all the other cards i have had and other computers

AA makes it look better, thats why it made your comp lag:) Look in the screen i posted b/c it has AA and AF on pretty high

the AA helps remove the jagged edges on all curved surfaces, to make them look more like curves instead of a flight of stairs. This make the graphics look a lot better, but like you noticed, sometimes it means taking a huge performance hit.

The 7600GT itself isnt even 200 dollars...
