Ya, despite what you'd think, in order to get the ram to be dual channel the sticks have to be right next to each other (one in teal, one in blue).

my mobo may be s939, and maye be SLi, and may have mild OCing ability, but look at it:


the CPU socket is crowded like that one MSI board
the RAM slots are crowded
2 PCI slots
the front USB/audio cables go inbetween some PCIe and PCI slots, so I cant really put anything in my top PCI slot, I could barely fit my x-fi into the bottom one.
smaler than my wang
everything is so bunched together.
other than that, it is a good performer, other than some BIOS crap I havent had too many issues with it performance wise.

dont make me bust out a picture of my dads old dell's (that he still uses) PC100 ram. I put in an extra 128 MB of it, and it went SLOWER. LOL
