I've had some experiences with qpacks, so here's what you need to change:

Mobo: Ecs makes crap mobo's, as of right now the best matx come from biostar, or dfi.

HD:That drive is okay, look for one with a 16mb cache, they're usually faster.

Memory:Bad bad bad, run from that like the plague. Get either a 1gb stick or a 2x1gb kit of at least ddr2 800 nonregistered non ecc ram.

Cd:That case has almost no room between the psu and optical drive, so get a lite on (shortest drives).

Psu: Same here, go for an enermax liberty psu.

Monitor: Don't like it, res is too low, plus it's an off brand.

Mouse/keyboard: Really bad, you get that and you'd regret it. Never get a cheap wireless mouse, it's gonna lag like no tomorrow. Get a cheap microsoft or logitech wired keyboard/mouse kit instead.


Edit: Tokens system is good, but I like the qpack much better.

IMO the LANBOY ****es all over most LAN cases. It weighs nothing, its cheap and it has dual 120mm fans, it also takes a full size ATX mobo, I find it hard to beat. It can even do SLI at a pinch.

well the mobo is okay, but you could probably get a better one. it seems like it should do the job though, this is just a LAN rig. the one toeknbrit posted IS NOT a micro ATX board and will not fit into that case.

the CPu is good, but like token posted, probably go with the 3500. not only is it WAYYYY cheaper, but it still gets the job done. this is only a good gaming lan party rig. my 3200+ S939, is on my HUGE gaming rig and it alwasys gets the job done.

the PSU i believe WILL NOT fit in that case either go with something like this:

that is the strongest MicroATX psu.

and lastly the RAM:
you picked up DDR2 400, when the AM2 standard is DDR2800.

edit: i am pretty sure i am right, i dont have much experience with the qpack so I dont know if certain things fit in it or not, buit too my knowledge it is mATX asll the way
