Pc Gurus, Ot But It's A Tough One

Hi everyone,

I have a huge problem in that I recently lost a huge chink of my HD information. Now some of it I was able to recover using Get Data Back which I think is awesome but the files that I flagged hidden (right click on file choose properties and check hidden) will not open. Is there any way that I can successfully open and view these files? Easy Recovery is GARBAGE and does nothing. I'm at my whits end and although the files are'nt life or death important, I would still like to have them back. Can anyone help me?

How big are the files? And I wouldnt try recovering executables, its just not worth running the risk as they are most likely incomplete now.

I use an awesome program but its on my other PC, will try and post it when I get home.

i hear putting the HD in a airtight, static-resistant bag in the fridge for a few hours to chill it makes for better data recovery. ive had alot of people tell me it works and not a myth. havent tried it myself though.

I have a sweet little program that will recover hidden files, it's called Recover My Files.
