Not necessarily, I had an old MSI board that would do it at random times.

My sons computer does the same thing. It has an alarm on the mainboard that just ramdomly starts. I thought it my be overheating or something. It's MSI.

I've also had squeeky cpu heatsink fans as well.

Use a stethascope or the mechanics way with a screwdriver and hold against where the sqeek is and the other end against your ear. How I find noises in hard to find places.:) DONT electrocute yourself.

I was going to say the same thing

Alot of motherboards have a bleeping sound and a high pitch noise which is to alert you to problems look through your motherboard manual see if you have 1 and see if it lists the problems for the different noises

Mine used to do it but i found the problem looking in my manual it was due to a wire(not fitted to anything) which was too close to the mtal caseing of my case.

This might not be your problem but its worth having a look in your manual

i've heard of this problem before. its quite common actually, its your PSU making the sound. its under strain and probably getting a power leak somewhere. might be time to change your PSU. if u dont believe, u can try google it, your problem is actually quite widely debated before too.

I just bought the PSU though with everything else in this computer. Its a 500 watt antec and the sound doesnt even seem to come close to it :/ but what ever, ill take it apart again and see what i can find while also looking in the manul to see if its my MB.

Ok i cant beleave it but hes right, it is my PSU, I took my computer apart again and did a lot of trial and error by unplugging every fan one by one and trying to find out what was makeing the sound but none of them were so then i got another ear and asked them were they think it was comeing from and they said down there, (Were the PSU is). SO now, Any of you know how i could fix it? or do i have to call em up and talk to Tech support lol.
