My PC won't start

My PC won't start, and i'm concerned about losing my bf2 ranks/badges etc.
I need to reinstall my windows XP because it won't start.
Nothing will work, it starts up with the background and stops, and i can't open up my cmd. I have some battlefield 2 files in my documents and settings folder which will be formatted and lost, but i installed battlefield 2 on another hard disk which will remain untouched. Will i still lose my ranks? Or will i keep them?

You will not loose your ranks and badges etc.. Thay are stored on the account server.. so dont worry

Yes do that... when you have reinstalled bf2 again, just press manage account, and retrieve account...

My battlefield 2 is ion the G:\ drive and my crashed hard disk is the C:\ drive, so i won't need to reinstall it. So my comp won't beat me this time :nerr:

if you format c: , you will need to reinstall bf2, because some registery files etc are stored there...

Well there is another comp with bf2, can i copy the registry files from there?(both bf2 copies are legal)

as each computers registry is for that machine there not transferable. just format all ur drives and live with it lol!

Only had to format my c drive ;D

simple thing really todo is backup your registry each month

edit; mines usually something like 75mb
