Speculative Threading - Thats what Intel's Core Multiplexing is, buddy. And if Intel can do it, AMD can too.

What do YOU think RHT is, if not ST?

RHT is exactly what I said before, trying to give two procs the same instruction to work on together, it is a logical fallacy and it is a great disaster that internet blogtards seem to have fallen upon this phrase like hungry jackals as the saviour of AMD.
Speculative threading is something quite different and requires a fair amount of complex logic for the hardware to figure out how to split a thread. The kind of logic that is not on K8, although I suppose it could appear on future chips.
You say its on Conroe, honestly I dont know anything about that but I cant deny the possibility, I have nothing against Conroe I just pre-ordered one yesterday :hmm: .
In any case speculative threading is a much different animal then RHT. Saying the two are the same is like saying an aeroplane and a dragon are the same because they both fly, well excuse me but one is fictional .
I would be more surprised if AMD said they WERENT working on something like speculative threading.
