Help required speccing up new PC

I've finally decided to go out and buy a new PC. I've always built my own but they've always had problems so I'm getting it done properly. I've put together the following spec but can't decide on a number of options. I really want to get this right as it's a lot of money and I'd hate it if I got the wrong componants. The spec is...

I have a number of options though and can't decide whether to go for the following..

Memory
Upgrade to Corsair Pro LED PC5400 (667)

Coolers
Upgrade to Zalman CNPS9500 CPU cooler and Zalman VF900-CU GPU cooler

Do you think the memory upgrade is worth it? It'd cost around £100. Also, apart of upgradeability, is there any impact in geting 4 * 512's as opposed to 2 * 1 Gigs. The system builder doesn't offer the option to get 2 * 1 Gigs so I'm stuck with 4 * 512's.

I'm not going for ultimate performance, just pretty damn fast but hopefully a system that'll last a long time and runs relatively unstressed.

Is it worth spending the extra and getting the Zalman coolers or do you think it's overkill?

I would get a btter power supply to play it safe, 480 should be good for that rig, but I always like to play it safe.

as for the RAM, find some good DDR2 800. the motherboard default ram or w/e is DDR 800 so find some of that. trust me.

I have never heard of a 512mb 7900gt, so im assuming its a GTX, which is a good buy but next year you will need a new one, everybody will. so if I were you I wouldnt spend too much on it now. but its your chocie, if you can afford a new good one next year then go ahead and get the GTX.

I wouldnt get the coolers just yet, i have heard people can still OC the GTX with stock cooling (its friggin massive) plus I dont know if the zalman one is any better than the stock one for the GTX. keep the stock for now unlss you want to OC like an extra 1ghz lol.

Please read through the general rules of the support forum before you post in here next time. I don't like making peoples thread disappear because they can't read.

Anyways, a better PSU is definately in the works. Also, I would suggest avoiding 4x512 if you can help it. Probably not a huuuuuge detriment, but for that, you might as well pay for 2x 1g. That way, you have more upgrade space for later on. Send them an email, and ask them if they can upgrade you to 2 1g chips. A little communication goes a long way.
