    Logitech MX-1000 button problems

    Hello,

I have a Logitech MX-1000 and have been enjoying it for about a year now.

The only problem i am hving is that i cannot use these buttons:

Ok what i want to do is in BF2 change one of my key settings in the options > controls. But for some reason when i try to edit the keys nothing happens, as if the buttons don't work or something. Anyone know how to make those keys work on BF2??

Here's a program for Logitech mice called uberoptions. It integrates into SetPoint and will allow you to map all of the buttons. It allows diffrent profiles for diffrent games/programs.

    or

    EDIT: Added Mirror.

thanks guy i really appreciate it.

Ok i got it installed and everything, but i am a bit confused as to how to make it do what i want to do with bf2. Do you guys use it too? I see Talus does, Talus, i just want to set the button i circled in red (the lower one) to the cycle weapons key in BF2. I know you have to add program's executables to the "programs" list, and i did, but still am comfused. Anyone?

You need to assign the function a keyboard command in BF2, then assign the mouse to do the keyboard command in uberoptions. There is an option called assign keystroke assignment, use that.

By 'cycle weapons' are you referring to 'F' used to toggle weapons?

If so, simply use the 'assign keystroke' command as mentioned above in the Set Point screen and assign the cruise down button to be 'F'.
