    SLI Help poor performance

I recently added another 7600GTKO to my system for an SLI setup. Everything installed fine. However I am not happy with performance at all! While playing BF2 @:

    1024x768@85
    4x AA
    everything high except
    dynamic shadows and lighting med.

I get about 25-35 frames per second this is awfull. Everything is enabled SLI is enabled. Enabled SLI multi Gpu rendering in the profiles section. When I turn on the load balance feature I am not sure how to read it but most of the time the green color within the bar is small. 3dmark scores are what I had with only one video card installed. Was thinking my cpu was a bottleneck for my system, have not overclocked to 3.2GHZ yet (it's real late here as I am writing this and I need to get some sleep)

Have tried almost everything I can think of... PSU should be good enough and is plugged into the molex connector on the motherboard (ECS C19A SLI) for SLI operation. The 7600GT's do not need an extra power connector on the cards. the PSU that I am usuing is an Aspire 520Watt with a 12v rail of 36A or 38 can't remember.

I just wan't to get this fixed or find the problem!

    Thanks.

First, do a clean reinstall of the newest nvidia drivers, make sure your chipset drivers are also up to date.

clean uninstall nvidia drivers as he said and download and isntall latest (84.21, the 90 series is hard to use for SLi IMO).
enable Sli, disable vsync (that might be your problem), multi GPU.

also: is the sli card connecter in place securly?
and: is SLI turned on on the motherboard?

bridge is in place, and the motherboard enables SLI automaticly.

Will uninstall Nvidia drivers, and reinstall again and disable vsync. However do you think I should use the windows driver wizard for each card to install the drivers or the nvidia setup application?

Do not use the microsoft wizard, just cancel it when it pops up. Use the nvidia setup.

ran 3dmark 2006 and this is my best score so far:

Seems to be in line with other simmular systems that I have compared it to only system that was faster than mine and scored about 300Points more was his cpu was at 3.5.

Will run 2005 and see what I get.

Is the bad fps constant? Does it only happen on servers with a large number of players (60+)? Is the fps bad in a 32-player room? What fps would you get before SLI?

Some questions that may help us out here...

just ran a BF2 server with 32 bots and got about 16fps there has to be something wrong 3dmark 06 ran fine, however Ghost recon advanced warfighter would not run at all! Game would freeze constantly with a buzzing sound like sounds repeating very fast. With SLI disabled graw ran ok without a problem. I am thinking one or both of my cards may be going or something like that. Before with one card my frames where good not great but good.

Remove your old card, and try running with just the new one. If you're still having problems, call evga and rma the new one.

I think we should have made you check the video bios was the same version on both cards, in theory it simply wouldnt work but it wouldnt be the first time a computer rebelled and did something odd.
