    Dual monitor help.

Hey I have a problem with dual screen monitoring, I have the evga 7600 GT and my friend says its capable of dual screen monitor. I put both of them on and when it turns on everything is ok, both screens have the same thing, but when it comes to my password part my other screen goes black, and when I login the other screen is still blank.... is there anything I did wrong? or do i have to do something on the computer.??

            Hiya,

BF2 does not support dual monitors :-(
If you CAN, tell me how :-)

You can get Windows and some programs to do it, by setting
Horizontal Span mode (2 monitors combined into 1.)

            But sadly,
it seems most 3D games cannot output through 2 ports.

Maybe it's possible if they are both DVI?

No, it's just not possible, unless the game specificly supports it.

I love setting up dual monitors for other games that support it like flight sim 2004, i can put all my instrument panel on one monitor and see out the cockpit window on the other. I really dont see a practical use for dual monitors in BF2 though...

For the game itself there wouldn't be any real benefit. But it's nice to monitor RAM usage, CPU, and GPU temps on the other monitor.
