When should I upgrade?
Well , im looking to buy a new computer. So I was wondering when do you guys think I should upgrade? I was thinking to start getting the parts around early 07 (February , March , ect.)

no matter when you upgrade, there will always be better parts out on the market by the time you get it built. -

wait for Dual Cores to go down and [it is my opinion] that you should wait for DX10 cards now. your rig currrently aint that great, but it definitly can still play. if you are willing to wait I would wait, maybe like 4 months. it will be worth it. of course, if you bought stuff now,it would be an extra like 400$ when the time comes for new technology (DX10 etc). w/e is worth it to you.Comment

I don't hink the next gen of vid cards is gnna come out for a while (at least not till winter), it would be worth waiting a month or so for cheaper CPUs, AMD announced they are lowering the prices of their S939 and AM2 CPUs sometime in mid-late july, so wait till then.Comment

That is perfect , my birthday is early February. Thanks guys , im most likley going to get my monitor and sound supplies and keyboard / mouse for christmas since I doubt that wont change.Comment
