Needing New Video Card. Suggestions?

I'm needing a new video card for my computer. I live in Canada so newegg is out of the question sadly. I would prefer using ncix.com. Bascially I would like to spend around 100$-240$ CDN. I've got a :
3800+ X2
1 GB RAM, upgrading to 2 soon
350 watt PSU , would prefer not needing a new one
PCI-e, if you coudln't tell

I guess thast about it, so any card really, just something that will deliver medium settings or higher and as inexpensive as possible. Suggest anything but please explain why its a good choice as well.

With a psu as weak as the one you have, it's gonna be pretty hard to find a good card. Is the machine an oem or did you build it?

What do you guys think of the x850xt? I can pick one up for less then 200 CDN. Any good? Or any other recommendations?

EDIT - Also found one on ebay for $140 US

its a really good card, but for 200, I think you can get something newer and better (i think :))

Yea, X850XT was a great card in it's days (best of all in it's gen, Plat eidtion was even better), but, first, it doesn't support Shader Model 3.0, so in 3dmark06, your score will be VERY low (mine is at like 1800 cuz my X800XL don't support SM3). Anyways 7600GT great card, if you like ATi then go for the X1800GTO, it's just a X1800XL with 4 less pipelines. And if you get it, you might be able to unlock to 16 pipes (if you get the right one). Anyways, hi guys, i havn't been here for over a month, i'm back, i might stay, or maybe not.

Well, if you like ATi, the X1800GTO is a great alternative to the 7600GT, dunno if it's in pricerange though, so you'll have to check it out (dunno many canadian sites).

For $200, the 7600GT is the best card to get.
