i own a 6800 PCIE 256mb loaded all the drivers and when i start bf2 it frezzes in the menu and u could only hear sounds..whats the problem?!

Also if your running a widescreen resolution, like 1680x1050, BF2 does not work with widescreen. You need to do some creative forum searching or googling to find the information on what to edit to fix that problem.
That might be a contributing factor to as why you cant get the game to work.Comment

Duff widescreen resolutions dont allow the game to go far enough to freeze, it simply fails to initialise- in my experiance.
If you were previously playing okay before the obvious thing to ask is what did you change? any driver updates etc? or is it the infamous 1.3?Comment
