Graphics suck!

My settings are on the highest, 1280*1024 with 4xAA, but the textures are soo ugly. Can't I get it higher? Also, when I'm running, and the grass is fading into view, it looks blocky and solid until I get somewhat close to it. Any way to fix this?

NO, I guarantee the game should still look excellent without those on..... That woulnd't effect blocky figures anyway....

the car is normal, turn the other things on and it SHOULD look better. but for the most part that looks normal i think.

Some people have been reporting problems like this since v1.3

Try turning on Dynamic Lights and Shadows and you'll probably see your grass improve. It's not SUPPOSED to be this way..but it seems a few graphics settings have been screwed up with the patch.

Try it and report back.

A couple of things here. The textures in this game are just crap sometimes like the interior of vehicles. To get the ground and grass to look better you need to set your AF manually to 8x or 16x in your video settings, but HQ dramatically improves the textures on the ground and grass. Increasing AF sets the draw distance for grass farther away.

FTW, people with powerful enough hardware should really try adaptive/multisampling AA, really makes a difference for foliage, grass and fences.
