So i have been trying to write this .iso image to a blank DVD+R disk. And Whenever I do NERO 7, or MAGICISO, it says no cd in drive??? in nero 7 i did get system info and it says my dvd drive can read and write dvd+r but it says that a blank cd-r is in the drive, but a dvd+r is actually in it??!!? what the heck can some one please help ME!!!!
The drive is a Sony DVD+RW 2.4x Write (DRU-120a), and the DVD's are
Memorex DVD+R 16x, 4.7gb

Are there any firmware updates for the drive? The same thing happened to me awhile ago and a firmware update fixed it. Can the drive still read other discs?

what like you mean test a other disk??

that is not a dvd+R

Yes, can it read anything else? Music, the bf2 disc, pretty much anything else.

Edit: Here's the support page for your drive, I'd dl and run the firmware update just to see if it'll fix the problem.
