Beep Beep, Clear!, Beep Beep, Clear!

Its alive!, My CPU is alive!

It wouldnt stay stable at 2.6, so I increased the voltage and I thought my CPU was on the verge of dying, I had to reset the CMOS 4 times before it finally allowed me to enter the BIOS.

    Good news is, its working!

Bad news is that the 3700+ Clawhammer sucks at OCing, cant get it from 2.4 to 2.6 w/o instability.

Its stable at 2.55 though, which isnt too bad...but another .05 would be very nice =)

I forgot the voltage settings and frequency though =(

You could just buy my stuff and be hitting 3.0 Ghz. It would be much eaiser.

Um, you realize the 4.7 Ghz was on LN2 right? You won't be able to atain nearly that without some really extreme cooling.

Not to mention they disabled the second core to reach those speeds, running both cores will net you considerably slower clockspeeds.

Just so nobody has to pretend to be smart, LN2 is Liquid Nitrogen.

            Cold stuff.

lol you can overclock anything to extreme speeds on LN2...

How well do you think they will generally OC on WCing?

Im getting it at 2.67, so hitting 2.8 should be easy, but I plan on getting it to 3.0.
