Ok, I've recently got my hands on a program called Riva Tuner(most recent) which I saw from a previous post and I noticed I could change my default fan settings so I rebooted to get correct speeds and it says 27% duty cycle. So, I decided to change it to 70% with 68% duty cycle and my idle temps dropped from 45degrees Celcius to 37degrees Celcius. and the fan noise is somewhat noticeable but I can deal with it if it can keep my card from 80degrees celcius at heavy load. But what I am really wondering if it's safe to change the fan's default settings? if not i'll change it back right away. Thanks in advance for your input.

That's great to hear because since my change, my full load temps have dropped alot. My old full load temps were between 78-82degress celcius and now they are 56-60! i love it!Originally posted by RAF92_WarhawkComment

Yea, my full load temps before were 90-95C, now they are 65-70C... If I were you though, I'd use ATI tray tools. Its specially made for ATI's and allows for more customization... Heres my fan settings in it...
