7600gt vs £300

Hi i have got a a pretty good system i just built but i was wondering what i could upgrade to get a better game (graphics and performance wise) i have £300 to spend

My current system:

amd athlon 64 3800+ x2 dual core processor
ecs kn1 sli amd motherboard
2048 mb ram (4 x pny 512mb)
samsung 250gb (7200rpm)
samsung 74gb (10000rpm)
256mb pny geforce 7600gt
lg 19" flat lcd monitor

Any advise?

That looks like a pretty good system already. I'm considering PCI express cards next time, still got to pay back visa 1st for the last spend.

I would say wait for the next generation of graphics cards from both ATI and Nvidia, then you will be able to get a nice high-end one.

Stop, now. You already have a really good comp, and we have all told you twice to wait! Stop making these threads, you asked the same question yesterday. Wait until dx10 cards come out, then upgrade.

No, no! Upgrade to a 7900 series card and ship me your old 7600GT in exchange for this advise. Sounds fair enough. I'll even pay for the shipping! That's pretty generous of me, right?
