    Psu?

    Gents,

I know, I know, It's another PSU thread.

This is the problem, I have $125 to spend on a PSU, but with some many options out there, I am lost and confused.

I know the good and bad PSU brands, but I am not sure which one.

    Specs:

    AMD Opty 146
    eVGA 7800 GT
    2 gigs of OCZ 2GB PC4000 Platinum
    1 Maxtor 200 GB 7200rpm SATA-150 HDD
    1 Lite-On DVD/CD Burner

    Thanks!

IMO the best PSU out there today. May be a little overkill for you though.
    Quad 12V rails.
You'll need to add a few bucks though.

or here's the same exact PSU with ounly dual rails for a few $$ cheaper.

the 550W will last you along time and you can always trust antec. It is also enough power to go sli if you wanted another 7800GT

FSP and Antec are some of the best.... The ones they posted are probably your best options.

I've had my eye on those, I just can't justify buying a new one yet.

PC & P is excellent, the favourite child of Hard OCP. ennermax rocks, mines hasn't given me one problem. Older Antecs are excellent, the newer one on the other hand, people have their doubts. I would say at least 550, maybe even up to 600 to be safe.

Feh, my Antec Truepower 2.0 480w is doing just fine.

...Is that one of the new ones you are talking about?
