Help with wireless networking

ive been having problems with my wired modem/router system getting a very slow download speed at both PCs

so as my current internet provider hasnt fixed the problem ive decided to change to another provider im also going to change from wired networking to wireless

i dont know much about shared internet networks so maybe you could give me some help

firstly is this a good network card

i dont really understand what the difference between say a 54mbps network card and a 108mbps card what advantages would this give to me

im going to recieve the new wireless modem between june 7-9th im planning to have all the other parts by then

Only thing I can think of if your going slower then normal is there is either something messing with your reception or you are out of range of your modem.

Talk to talus, I believe he uses a wireless connection.
