A friend has this laptop and wants to buy BF2. Its pretty close to minimum specs. What do you think

yeah it will, medium settings, the RAM is bottlenecking going higher.

Yeah definitely more RAM, but the processor is 1.6ghz, I thought BF2 needed 1.8ghz...

I had a 1.8 ghz Pentium 4 w/ a 9800 pro and 1 gig, of RAM and I could hardly play. I had to play in 16 size servers with lower settings and it would still get pretty jittery now and then.

I had a 900mhz P3, 128mb geforce 6200 and 512 ddr133 ram and it was very playable with all settings on low. Ummm, yeah.

On low it was very playable, but not enjoyable. Just be warned, it will get extremely laggy in a high capacity server. Mine couldn't handle more than about 26 people.
