Re: My New Laptop
Like I said in my other post, you must get them off of your manufacturers website, the standard nvidia ones won't work.

Re: My New Laptop
Yea i was gonna say, none of them do work.. ok thanks lots. So is it the brand of the laptop (asus) or of the video card, which is actually nvidia.

Go to the asus website and look for your laptops driver page. When new drivers come out dl them from there.Originally posted by Sir. Blak_PheonixYea i was gonna say, none of them do work.. ok thanks lots. So is it the brand of the laptop (asus) or of the video card, which is actually nvidia.

Re: My New Laptop
Ok.. thx man.
Im really worried about the temperature on this new laptop, the Go 7600 is running at 100 righ now, and the CPU is at 92, and its idling..
It started at about 55/48 GPU/CPU, but it hasnt been cooling down...
The mobo is at 75 and the HDD 44
Oh i just noticed.. i cnt hear the fan running at all.. it uded to cut in and out when it got over 48.. not its not there..

Re: My New Laptop
Desktop replacement laptops always run hot. Last year my Inspiron 8600 fried the 7200RPM hard drive while playing too many hours of WoW.
What you should do is ensure you have good airflow, and search for some hacks that will enable your fans to run at full speed.
There are apps that will allow you to control the fan speed, and while gaming you should turn them on and run @ 100% to keep temps down.
Sorry i dont know the name of any off hand, been out of the laptop scene for a while.
