A question for ATI users

Has anybody noticed any difference with adaptive anti-aliasing turned on for non
x1000 series cards?

I used to use an X300SE before I got my 6600GT and it had the same AA features. I never noticed a difference with it.

well I use an x800xl and when AAA is turned on the frame rate drops about 3 to 5fps. This is running at 1024x768 without AF. As far as image quality is concerned can't really see much of a difference.
