Hey guys I just got my 6800gs it(16pp,6vp) and I was wondering what were the bf2 settings to make it look good, yet get 40+ FPS. thanks for the help.

Thats pci-e right?, what ram and cpu do you have? I play at all high, 4x aa, 1600 x 1200 and 100% view distance smoothly and i'm on agp. -

No it's an agp card. I'm using agp 4x(I don't have 8x)
P4 2.6ghz
1gb ram in dual channel
eVGA 6800gs CO
When I play with just everything on medium at 1024x768 at gets all laggy. BTW im using 91.28 x-g drivers.Comment

I assumed it was pci-e because the agp version is locked at 12 pixel piplines and 5 vertex processors as far as I know (I unlocked my pixel pipelines in rivatuner)
1.5 - 2 gigs is what you need for stutter free gameplay on high or even medium settings.
I think your cpu is the main bottleneck though, your agp 4x motherboard and then your ram last.
Try turning texture to low, and all of the dynamic stuff down.
