Good setup for my system..

Ok guys after building a new pc but its not performing how i expected..

i get a nice 70-80 frames just running around as soon as i get into battle thou it drops out and goes lower than 20 at some points making its a drag to play..


system specs
Intel 640 cpu No OCing
ATI x850 XT PE
Intel 915p chipset *asus P5gd1 pro mobo*
1 gig corasiar xms cas2
soundblaster live 5.1 digital
the games on my main IDE drive which is a western digital 7200rpm

windowns is fresh 2 day old instal all updates and Service pack 2 updated
ive ran a defrag and ad-aware mobo as latest bios sound and graphics card have latest drivers

Id expect the game to run better with those setting and my setup

bump anyone give me any advice on this as i still get lag spikes from time to time...

Ive dropped dynamic shadows to low..... thats the only change from the screeny

Get 2GB it really does help out.

update the video card drivers. i know that for a fact from the screenshot. see the colored lines around the boxes that say cancel, singleplayer, etc? whenever u see that it probably means u need to update your drivers :-)
