video card?

i was planning on getting BF2, but i know that first i need to upgrade my video card, and i was wondering if this would do the job?

This will do a very good job. :)

if your willing to spend around $150 get the 7600 it should be able to run bf2 on all high.

yea, you won't be able to run BF2 on all high, but pretty much as close as your going to get with your set up.

I'm using a GForce 6800GT and it runs well on high but I have trouble if I try and use the antialiasing.There are still other options out there, just depends on how deep your pockets are.

yea, but he only has a gig. of memory, which limits the settings his vid. card can output.

yea, i just ordered the eVGA 7600 GT from newegg, im pretty sure it will work great on any game,i asked a lot of ppl, they say eVGA 7600 GT is good.

The 7600Gt is a graet card, and can easily run this game at al high, the only thing that will be holding you back from running at ALL high, is your RAM, is you could add another 512MB of gig, then you would be able to easily, but you should be able to put all but or on high, maybe just textures on med, or one of the dynamic settings on med.

I see everyone forgot to ask the magic question, does he even have a PCI-E slot. Just because he linked to a PCI-E card does not mean that his motherboard has the slot (and how many times has that been seen in here?). For all everyone knows he may just have a Dell or something and has confused PCI-E with PCI (which has also been sen in here a lot). If that is the case, it is also entirely possible that he doesn't even have an AGP slot.

Very good question... to the OP, what is the model of your computer? If it's not prebuilt, then just the motherboard model would be fine and we can determine if you have a PCIe slot from there.
