    Will this work?

    Greetings, I have some questions to see if this type of computer will work with Battlefield 2 and also, how well will it preform. If there is anything I need to change, please let me know.
    - AMD 64-BIt 3000+ Custom Built Computer Syste
    - Athena Screwless ATX Case (Black)
    - EchoStar 680Watt ATX Dual Fant Power Supple
    - Asus A8N-SLI Socket 939 Motherboard
    - AMD 64-Bit 3000+ Socket 939 Retail Processor
    - 1 GB PC3200 (400Mhz) DDR Memory Moduel (2GB Total Memory)
    - EVGA 7600GT CO 256MB PCI-e Video Card
    - Lite-On 16X DVD +/-RW Drive With Burning Software
    - Maxtor Diamond Max 160GB 7200RPM Serial ATA Hard Drive
    - Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    - 120mm Internal Case Fan

      You should get an AMD 64 3200 or better yet 3500 TRUST me on that and make sure its sockety 939 for your mobo

          Not trying to flame you or anything but I run BF2 with all settings maxed, and 8xAA, 16xAF using a AMD 64 3000+. You don't need that much processing horse power to run this game.

          You might not run at full specs with a 7600, but you will be close and it will definetly work. Just make sure you have enough fans. I have 1 x 120mm on the back, 1 x 80mm on the side, 1 x 80mm horizontally mounted above the graphics card and 2 x 80mm on the PSU (one on either side). It might be overkill but it beats frying the machine.

                Get another gig of ram and you could run BF2 on high :)
