Ok buys just ordered myself a new video card because I burned out my old 6600(hehe). Here's my specs

    Pentium 4 2.6ghz
1gb ram (4x256mb in dual channel)
    80gb HD
    Nvidia 6800gs CO agp
    430 watt thermaltake PSU

that should be able to play on medium-high, POSSIBLY high- with a few medium. I would probably get mroe ram though if you can (which would mean replacing two sticks, or maybe even all four.) it should run good. I also burnt out my old 6600AGp before building a new PC.

if you had a regular 6600 you should see a nice performance boost. Can probably run a mix of high and medium settings. Cant go all high because you dont have 2GB of ram, and will see studdering.

Yea I don't play on running all high. Everything low except texture(meg), geometry(high), effects(high), and maybe lighting on med. I do play to use .2xAA maybe 4xAF

How do you guys burn out the video cards? Too much overclocking?

a number of things could happen (sorta)

            1. overclocking, too much for too long without proper cooling

            2. defective cards can do that (thats what happened to mine)

            3. horrible cooling, even with stock settings, like dust getting stuck and stuff.

            4. umm wow I forgot.

Yea I had my card OC'ed to the max. Also the cooling was terrible.

AGP will do fine. I have an ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256MB AGP and the game runs at med-high for geometry, textures, etc., but i keep lighting on low. I run at 1600x1200 resolution with 6xAA, and I have had no problems until patch 1.3(caused 40fps drop).

Should run great except for one thing, as some already mentioned, more RAM. If you can afford another gig then get it. :)

If you don't wish to upgrade anything I would play on medium/high

sure you could try a few highs but I don't think it would be worth it...
