    Good monitor?

Ok my PC arrived already connected it I can play BF2 on medium-high.. But I got a crappy monitor which really makes a annoying high noise when it's on for too long :|

So my question was do you people have any experience with "Good" monitors cause I'm going to buy a new one.. I'm searching for a good 19 inch, with a good response time and under 300 (Euros)

    300.00 EURO = 382.124 USD

    Thanks - Jason

Looks good but it's around 390 Euro's in the Netherlands :| Which is 496.761 USD

Caused by 19% Tax rates and of course people want to earn "money".. :|

I'll see maybe I'll go to the US a time and get it then.

2ms repsonse time is overkill. There is a tendency amongst certain people to recommend only what they have themselves . Realistically things to look for are a response time of less than 16ms and a DVI connection. If you can find these things from a trusted brand e.g. Viewsonic, Samsung etc. you will do fine.

Ok I saw a monitor it looks really, really nice I would even buy it because it looks so damn good :)

It's a Dutch site though so the only thing that matters it the price for detailed specifications:

It's a good monitor right? 8MS isn't bad or something..

that noise ur hearing could be because ur refresh rate is either too low or too high.

i managed to pick up a Xerox XA9-19i DVi-i 19" 8ms 500:1 1280x1024 £206.00 which i guess is around 300euros roughly. i bought that from a store but you can save about another £20ish online. i see youre in europe so you could probably get a good rate buying from a UK based online store. maybe try komplett.com i think theyre a netherlands based company anyway. ive been very impressed with the Xerox, i know the based on Proview screens which tend to be cheaper, and i believe thats down to cosmetics.

Yeah, I'm still not sold on this new LCD I bought...I think I may like the 'analog' picture quality better /shrug

I mean it's HUGE and it's WIDESCREEN and it takes up less room on my desk but .. this LCD picture quality is VERY hard to get used to ..
