    Catalyst 6.5 Released

    This release of Catalyst® introduces the following new features:
    - Overlay Theater Mode Update
    - Adaptive Anti-Aliasing for ATI Radeon® 9500 and above

    As with most Catalyst® releases, performance has increased in various situations. The PCI Express bandwidth optimization code in Catalyst® 6.5 brings performance improvements for both the ATI Radeon® X1600 and Radeon® X1300 Crossfire configurations, including:
    - Up to 23% gain in UT2004
    - Up to 20% gain in Splinter Cell

      Sorry to burst your bubble, but those gains are only for people who have two x1600's (crossfire).

          hmm still sounds good even to normal users, i have an x850 Pro, and i like this adaptive anti aliasing im hearing of

            When updating the drivers, do I need to do a complete driver uninstall and then install drivers? Or can I just install it over my previous version of catalyst drivers without having performance losses?

              Even though I use nvidia cards, I always uninstall--reboot into safe mode and run drivercleaner pro-->reboot into normal windows-->install new drivers.
