    Dell E510 Question

Well im planning on getting a new video card but my psu wattage is only like 300. Does anyone know if you can switch out a psu in a dell E510 and if so could you show me some on www.newegg.com? Preferably one with at least 500 watts and with a dual 12v rail.

Or you may be very right. Best way to find out is to look up your computer on Dell's site and find the psu specs. They usually have it somewhere that shows what the pin-outs for the ATX connector are. Then just go to any psu manufacturer's sire (Antec, Enermax, etc), and find the same info and compare the two. If the pin-outs are the same, then you can pickup any psu. If they are different, then you will need something like this,

        Re: Dell E510 Question

I can't seem to find anything about the pin-outs but if I were to open up the case would they be listed on the side if the PSU?

*edit* Well i tried that but i didn't find anything on the psu in regards to the pin-outs. Any ideas?

Well I have changed my mind about getting a whole new psu. Ive decided to go with a video card that needs a 300 watt psu. I found this one. I currently have an x600.

and was wondering if its compatible with my dell e510 and if it will run future games like ET:QW and 2142 alright?
