I am running

2x nvidia geforce 6600 "SLI"
Amd athalon 64 x2 3800@2013mhz
1024mb ram
A8n-sli "asus" mobo

I just got 3dmark06 and ran a test, 2113 was my score. I was expecting to get higher ?? does this sound right .. thanks for any feedback

I used 2 x 6600gt and scored around 7000 w/3d mark 05 and 3000 w/3d mark 06. Same processor as you too.

My guess is the sli isnt set up correctly. I have an amd 3500 cpu and one 7600gs, and i got a better score then you. Hows your performance in BF2?

BTW, you sure the all the cables and things are corect?
1. SLi chip flipped around to dual setup?
2. Graphics cards connecter on securely?
3. Did you plug a power cable into the input next to the pci-e slot 1 on the board?

Um...the performance looks fine to me. A 6600 was a much weaker GPU than a 6600GT, and the 6600 being 70% weaker is perfect to compare the two cards.

i didnt think the regular 6600 had sli. But even then, those scores seem rather low.

Im am fairly positive all is installed correctly. device manager shows bolth
cards, and SLI is inabled in display properties.

My in game performance is ok like 50fps average with most settings @ high.

yep the 6600 was a pretty weak card, so that sounds about right to me!
