Okay, I have been reading a couple of posts about people owning the servers with jets because they use joysticks. I know the difference between them, and that the keyboard lacks some controler settings of a joystick. I have confidence that i may fly better in a joystick, since i have a microsoft sidewinder. The only problem is that my sidewinder is not compatible with my XP. On my older PC, which is a Windows 98, i played a lot of flight games, like flight sim, and WWII combat. BF2 is meant for more of an infantry/ground fighting, but I want to get more into flying.
My question to you guys is,
Do I need to get a joystick? is it worth spending my money on, or makes no difference?
If I choose to get a stick, any reccomandations or past experiences? Im not looking for a pricy ones, meant for the pros, perhaps one under $50 and works well.
