will the adeon 9250 work?

i have heard that the ati radeon 9250 will not work for bf2... i know that when i try to start it up, the game will come up with the regular bf2 rectangle...then a blck scrren pops up, and as fast as it comes up it goes down...plz respond to this, i have had the game for over a month and not able to play the game...it is torture, well thanks for reading...plz tell if it will work or not :cry:

if u on badget and got AGP get 9600 XT, 500 MHz core and 300 MHz Memory....they are for 60$ nowadays....ifu have pcie go with X800 there down to 100$
