Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
is that for a 64 player map? for me to play good on a 64 player map i have to put all my settings to Meduim. But on a 32 player map i got all settings on high (expept for lighting, shawdos etc.) on meduim, with also 2x AA. And i play fine. Although im not sure i have the current driver, how do i check what driver i have right now?Comment

Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
Increase your RAM and you will be pleasantly surprised.
To get your driver version, do the following:- right-click desktop
- select 'nvidia display
- select your monitor from the list that appears to the right
- look on the screen under 'ForceWare Version'

Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
it says 83.91 for the forceware version. But i went to tempreture settings and it says the GPU core tempreture is 80C!! is that correct?Comment

Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
I'm guessing that your GPU isn't under any load...so that is your IDLE temp?
For reference, mine is currently 39..but I have the 7900GTX and different cards can run at different temps. My old 6800GT AGP used to get to 80C under HEAVY load..but never caused any problems.Comment

Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
I'm not sure about your model, but newer high-end graphics cards usually have a separate connector that requires power.Originally posted by Spartan101ok let me check.

PCIe cards have special power connectors while AGP cards can use the standard molex.
I'll see what I can find about your card.
EDIT: no, your card does not. But check to make sure that the small white power connector leading from the HSF is properly connected to the card seen in this picture

But make SURE that the fan is spinning quickly...and not slowly.
If you have had the card installed for a while, buy a can of compressed air and dust out the inside of your case paying special attention to heat sinks and fans on CPU, chipset, and GPU.Comment

Re: Anyone have a 7600GT?
ok, some driver sets read the temps differently.
Try a newer driver version.
