        for $209 the x1800XL is a far better card, its around as fast as a 7800GT, and includes better image quality than nvidia. Basically if you can pick up that card for $200ish your getting away with murder, it was over $300+ a few months ago, they must be doing a clearance because thats an insanely low price IMO.

        Looks like you missed the deal, the x1800XL is gone from newegg.... too bad.

          Damn, kinda sucks about it not being there anymore, but those open box seem to be worth $200.

          The bottom one says it has 1000MHz, and the top one has 500. I know there's a difference, but will it matter?

            They are the same, one is reporting the true 500mhz clock, the other is reporting the clock after its been doubled due to DDR sending data two times per clock cycle.
