Ok I'd be soo glad if you guys could tell me what settings and how it will look like

Here are my old and new system specs I'm sooo curious on how it will look like it drives me insane :@ :p

Old system Specs:
Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz
512MB Ram
Ati Radeon X300SE:
Core clock 325MHz
PixelPipelines 4
Memory Clock 400MHz
Memory Size 128MB

New System Specs:
Intel ViiV 2.8 Ghz
2048MB Ram
Geforce 7300LE:
Core clock 450MHz
PixelPipelines 4
Memory Clock 532MHz
Memory Size 256MB


You would really help me out if someone could post a screen on at which settings I could play (Hope it won't be the same ) I'm getting a new vid. card anyway later on..

Thats when I use to have my old geforce Fx 5200 with 512MB of ram and a 1.6GHZ P4. All settings on low.

You heard right. The 7300 is the FX5200 of the 7 series. Hell as far as that goes the 7300LE is slower than a 128 bit 5200.

I got another Question the most important one now I know this..

What will be the smartest to buy first actually I wanted to buy a Monitor first but now I think I'll do it with the same monitor but buy a new videocard.. What would be the smartest thing to do?

If not what monitor is worth the money under $300 +/-

Then if it's the smartest to buy a new video card what video card is good and can play bf2 on medium to high under $300 (I guess there will be some ^__^)

What kind of monitor do you have now? Assuming it is a CRT and is halfway decent, when/if yo move to a new LCD is largely a matter of personal preference and financial resources.

Put another way, a new card will make a considerable difference in visual quality, FPS, gameplay, etc. whereas the monitor may not, depending on what you have now.

I've got CRT now but I'm planning to buy a 7600GT now as that card can run medium and that is what I want..

It's 200 Euros and 169 Dollars on Newegg.com but in the netherlands we have got 19% Tax.. w/e it is..

So I got like a lot of money left and from that I'll buy a new monitor probably LCD 19 Inch but I've got a lot of patience so that won't be such a problem..

You dont need a 7600 or higher to play on higher settings, I do it on my 6800 GS!

But a 7600GT is just 200 Dollars that's not much imo.. And I've got another 200 left then so I'll wait for my birthsday and then I'll buy a new monitor :P

If you want a flatscreen, I wouldn't get that one, it only supports analog in I think, try to find one which accepts a DVI signal. Any response time of 12ms or less will probably be fine. I would stay away from Dells as they are usually overpriced, I suggest you investigate if you can find a nice Viewsonic.

An "upgrade" like that will net you very little performance, and may in fact be slower. The 5700 card is a complete POS through and through.

If the ViiV a Core Duo or Solo based chip? Those will be pretty fast, otherwise if its a P4 netburst based chip, it will NOT be much faster than you have now.

Just about the only thing that IS an upgrade will be the ram, 2GB of ram will be very nice, but for gaming this system you have speced out is a steaming pile and about the same performance as what you have now.

Yes it's a Dual-Core it's Intel ViiV PD 820 Processord Dual Core (2.8Ghz, 800FSB, 2x1mb)

You didnt understand my question, but its irrelevent since i wasnt thinking correctly anyways... there are no 2.8ghz core duo/solo. Anyways your new system is about as fast as the old system, expect to be disapointed if you intent to play games.
