Those developers would need to start from scratch. From kids, we're taught to code in Windows and Windows only. If it changes, developers would need to learn everything all over again. The best game coder in Windows would be nothing in Linux.

Where the **** would you learn to program on windows only. Linux is ridiculously easy to use, and any normal distro will include features and programs that windows can't dream of. It is more customisable in every way shape and form. If there existed some crazy world where more games existed for Linux I would drop windows in a heartbeat. Seriously it seems sometimes like all people are capable of is double-clicking an .exe file and hoping for the best.Comment

Anyway, what annoys me is they are still selling there products in stores for over £100, its been like that for years, surely a multi billion dollar company can afford to lower the pricing, eliminating other software vendors, its predatory pricing. I just think its a rip off for there software, and Vista will cost even more for the ultimate version which is no doubt based around gaming..Comment

Just try Ubuntu 5.10 for a few weeks, I did and it changed my life. Linux is really easy to learn and use. Most people are scared away from linux because of the use of the "terminal".
